Taking Care of Business Obama: U.S. faces 'greatest economic challenge'
If you thought President-elect Barack Obama was going to wait until January 2009 to address the state of the economy well you can forgetaboutit :) He's coming out of the blocks quickly and taking his position as a world leader seriously.
We need a rescue plan for the middle class that invests in immediate efforts to create jobs provides relief to families that are watching their paychecks shrink and their life savings disappear," Obama said in his opening statement before taking questions.
We are facing the greatest economic challenge of our lifetime, and we must act swiftly to resolve them," he added, while also deferring to President Bush and his economic team, noting that the country has only one government and one president at a time.
"This morning, we woke to more sobering news about the state of our economy," Obama said in his opening statement. The 240,000 jobs lost in October marks the 10th consecutive month that our economy has shed jobs. In total, we've lost nearly 1.2 million jobs this year and more than 10 million Americans are now unemployed. Tens of millions of families are struggling to figure out how to pay the bills and stay in their homes."
I have to give it to him. Even though he is not addressing homelessness directly, he understands that Washington must begin to undo the barriers preventing Americans from employment and to focus on keeping people in their homes. I can't even recall if President Bush has even said that we are in a "recession" now he has said "crisis", however, Barack Obama is addressing this country one issue at a time and by that I mean he trying to keep people in their homes. Amen!

Real Housewives of Atlanta: NeNe and Dwight Brainstorm about DeShawn's fundraiser
I know from experience that fund-raising or let alone asking people for $$$ is a hard thing to do in these day and times. So DeShawn Snow (she never just says her name is DeShawn) was throwing a fund-raiser at her BEATIFUL home for her "foundation".
The only problem was she reached "too far past the stars" by that I mean she actually thought she could raise $1M. Check out Dwight's feedback to NeNe who is now on Team DeShawn because Kim's trick a$$ is all in Sheree's face (watch out girl - she tryin to get all in ya bidness). This is my program right here!
Who ever said real mean don't wear pink need to put that myth to rest. Wear it and Wear it Well, that's my advise.
Who did it better: T.I. on Chelsea Lately and Tyra Banks Show
As part of TIP's "farewell tour" (he's going to the pokey for about 1 year) he was a guest on Chelsea Lately, you know the light skinned lady with the short guy on E! (wasn't that politically correct :)
For some reason light skinned women find his lip suckin' and "straight teeth" attractive. Chelsea is a fool and I'm glad her show is starting to get some traction.
What puzzles me is that he calls all of his children's mothers (aka baby mama's) "situations". Now if I was Teeny (aka Tiny) I would just stay myself at home. Check it out and do you find that comment offensive?
