Real Estate Counseling: Solid Ground looking for great volunteers
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development cut Solid Ground's contract $16,000 from last year for housing counseling and King County is expected to make more cuts to the agencies due to their $90 million deficit crisis. The article was posted on the Seattle Times website October 10, 2008.
If you've got experience in lending or real estate and would like to volunteer, e-mail Dziak at housingcounseling@solid-ground.org. Hours can be flexible or regular. Solid Ground is at 1501 N. 45th St. in Wallingford, about a mile west of I-5.
